Obituary of Sally Harden Harvin

Sally Harden Harvin, 78, wife of John Harvin, died January 25, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was a daughter of the late William Winslow Dunnells and Emily Balcom Dunnells. She was a member of High Hills of the Santee and was a retired cosmetologist with Styles by Steve. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lauri Beth Dowell (Kent) of Mooresville, NC; a brother, Buzz Dunnells (Joni) of Ft. Mill, SC; a stepson, Chip Harvin (Carla) of Myrtle Beach, SC; a stepdaughter, Tammy Harvin of Florence, SC; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Glen Savage. A funeral service will be held 2:00 Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Underwood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM at the funeral home before the service.
