Obituary of Thomas Daniel Baker

Pinewood, SC Thomas Daniel Baker, 88, widower of Thelma Johnson Baker, died Friday, May 8, 2020. Born in Rembert, he was the youngest son of the late Frank Baker and May Hatfield Baker. He was the last surviving child of fourteen siblings. Mr. Baker was a member of Pinewood Baptist Church, the Pinewood Lions Club and was a U. S. Air Force veteran. He was a retired salesman. Surviving are two daughters, Gayle Baker and Debra Wilkinson (Paul); one grandson, Thomas Wilkinson (Lucy), three great-grandchildren, Maclaren, Owen and Bear Wilkinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private Graveside services will be held in the Pinewood Cemetery with Rev. Benny Barwick officiating.
