Obituary of Robert Laferriere

Robert R. Laferriere, 59, husband of Diane Marie Crandall Laferriere, died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Prisma Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born in Lowell, MA, he was a son of Rose Reid Nashua and the late Richard Laferriere. He was employed by Simpson Hardware on Pinewood Road in Sumter. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by their beloved Cat, Bella; dear friends Ronnie and Anne Galloway, cousins, Mark Doucette (Bob); sister-in-law Cheryl Morris; brother-in-law Buster Crandall (Mary); dear friends, Patty Meanie (Phil), Gail Thresher, Brian Cross, Donna Giles; dear friends and customers at Simpson Hardware; the Noel Family of Lowell, MA; Welfab Corp. Billerica, MA.; very dear friend, Yvonne Lauletta. His sudden passing has broken our hearts. A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, November 22 in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral home with Dr. David Richardson officiating. Due to COVID-19, everyone is asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
