Obituary of Shelby Vaughn

Shelby Jean Tolson Vaughan, 77, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center in Bishopville. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. Tolson and Eliza L. Atkinson Tolson. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Ellen McLeod Cassity (Eric); a son, Allen O. McLeod; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry McLeod. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. All attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
