Always a smile when approached, hug when greeted and in farewell, a word of encouragement or advice when the situation called, and a help when needed. A man of wisdom, kindness and generosity. Tripp, you will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and community. Rest In Peace with the One who Will Be the Peace to those of us left behind. Until we meet again.

It is with heart felt sympathy that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this most try time. Tripp was indeed a good man and I take solace in the fact that he knew our lord and savior Jesus and I will get to see him again in Glory. I know in time the pain will lessen and I know the Lord will be with you along the way.
With deepest sympathy in your time of loss,
Stephen and Maria Caldwell

Though we have not been close in recent years, for time messes with higher priorities like friendship, Tripp was one of the best friends I could have hoped for. He matured from our days in high school into a man of dignity, honor, and especially an abiding love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tripp never failed to encourage me, neither back in the day nor recently. He truly practiced what he preached and I look forward to the Glorious Day soon to come when we will be reunited to continue our friendship in Heaven where we will worship our Lord together. Until then, old friend. I am praying for your family's comfort.

Tripp was a godly man he delivered tires to me one day and before he left he asked if he could pray for me. I guess god was speaking to him. Shortly after that my dad passed away and he ended up performing his service. He will truly be missed.

Tripp was an enthusiastic, passionate, and a “yes sir/can do” type of individual. He was a key member of our readySC™ instructor staff. He was directly involved with the training of over 2,000 individuals on various projects; directly impacting South Carolina’s economic growth. Tripp was a great asset to our team and will be greatly missed.

Tripp, my friend and brother in Christ, though no longer with us in flesh, you are no doubt alive. You are more alive than you have ever been, in the presence of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; this Jesus who you knew as through a mirror darkly, and now know face to face. For this we give thanks. The desire of your heart in life was that you might serve as an attractive reflection of Him. How can the impact of a life lived for such purchase be measured? How many whose lives you touched by your unaffected kindness, exerted and supplied for God's glory. How many have been furthered in their their knowledge and love of Jesus? More than we will ever know, which is just as it should be.
We share with you in your Joy having heard those beautiful words, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into your Master's Joy. Until we meet again, may you enjoy the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Tripp and I served together in the National Guard. He was my FDO and Executive Officer while I commanded C Battery 3rd/178th FA. He was always someone I could count on and I really valued his advice and friendship.
Later Tripp served with me on the Sumter County Fish and Game Board.
He was a tremendous help to my wife when she was in charge of the school newspaper at Manchester School.
I had the honor of teaching Tripp's two sons at LMA. They were a credit to their father.
I often ran into Tripp around town and at the school and I considered him a friend after 30 years of association.
I will miss Tripp but I know he is in a better place. Rest well my comrade.
Sincerely,
Hans Swygert
