Sister Shirley,was such a nice lady to be around always smiling and ready to have fun.my husband and I would drive up about the same time sister Shirley was Driving up in the church parking lot.we would talk as we walked into the church.she attend many social gathering over the years at church.her pew had been empty for a long time but she had sickness in her body and not able to attend church like I feel like she wanted to.i called her a few times checking.to see how she was doing.she will be missed at church and my heart hurts for her family that will miss her very much in the days ahead.praying for the family.Mr.& Mrs. Moody Geddings

Shirley was the sweet beautiful next door neighbor all of my childhhood. Her and Mom often gathered found our kitchen table for coffee. I'll never forget when her niece Dorothy was staying over one summer day. She was watching over the children while Shirley had gone out. They had a gas stove which Dorothy wasn't use to using. Well we all heard a boom. The stove had blown up burning Dorothy's legs. Mom called ambulance, all ended well but such experience. When Shirley return, never upsdt or fussing, just calmly asming if evrryone was om.We always played out every day when weather was good. Until dark. Fun times. So sad when Shirley had her wreck in her late 30's which was touch and go. It left life long scars but she overcame and never lost zest for living snd taking care of her family. Sacrificing always. A true mother in every sense. I'll see you again one day in your brand new heavenly body. REMEMBER You Always. Ruby Jean
