My heart goes out to the family of Jean Hall. We were very good friends in high school. We had a lot of fun and and did some very daring things together, and sometimes getting into a bit of trouble with the parents. One memory is when we were sleeping outside on her front porch and after everyone was in bed, we snuck out and roamed the neighborhood, and If i remember correctly, we met up with some boys!!! Her mother caught us, and I begged her not to tell my mother, because I would get grounded for the rest of my life, and she didn't tell my mom. Her parents were wonderful people. We enjoyed our high school years. Peace be with you Jean and your family.

This is sooooo late. My friend Linda Sanders just got a call and she called me. It is 8 Feb, 2022. We met Jean at the 349th Reserve Headquarters, Travis AFB, CA, in Quality Force. Jean, Sue Hanley, and Linda Sanders all warmly welcomed me when I started there in 1989. Jean and I turned into great friends, sharing a lot of interests such as shooting pool, or as Jean said, "pooping shool" lol! Or line dancing, crazy trips where I would scare her crazy with my driving skills. She was a warm, funny, intelligent, hard working mother, friend, and co worker to so many. Jean, Linda, and me were the 3 musketeers, plus Sue. We had so much fun at work. There are too many memories of good times to share here, but know that without her it wouldn't have been so fun to go to work. The world lost a most wonderful person and Heaven gained back God's gift to us. We, Linda and I, share in giving our sympathy to her daughters Jennifer and Karla. I haven't seen you two in so long, but I know you both must have turned into wonderful young ladies. Gail Barnett I still work at Travis, at David Grant Hospital and Linda is retired and still in the area.

Jean and I met in 1994 where we worked for the Air Force Reserves at Travis AFB. We quickly became good friends. Jean was kind, funny with an awesome sense of humor and had a generous and giving heart. She moved from CA to SC after she retired but we stayed in contact and had planned for her to come to CA for a visit and reunion of sorts with her CA friends but sadly she passed before that could happen. She was an angel on earth needed in heaven and will be painfully missed. Rest In Peace my friend you will be in my heart forever.

I was a classmate of Jean's and knew her a little. Saw her once after high school probably at a reunion. I live in Myrtle Beach not all that far from Columbia. Wished we'd all kept more in touch. Our class is very supportive and caring group. We will pray for the family and let you all know she will be missed. My best friend Brad Towne, was in the 6th grade spelling bee with her and laughs about practicing beforehand with her. God bless and may she rest in peace. Laird MacCubbin

Condolences to Jean's family. I was sad to see that she has passed. I often wondered where she was living now. Sorry to have lost track of her. Last I saw her was at a class reunion, maybe the 20th? Or earlier. Jean and I were pretty good friends during school years, remember spending time at her home on Marvin Ave. Sympathies to her daughter and to her sister, all the family.
Sincerely, Sue Jennings Lampo
