Q: How did you meet Mary Cornelia?
A: I first meet Mrs Britton in Clemson, when I was working at the hotel her family stayed at for Clemson football. She was very friendly, welcoming loving and appreciative. I got to know “Goose” as her grandchildren called her, I had the pleasure of taking care of her beautiful granddaughter MaryFrancces at first and then several others of the grandchildren., as time went on They all love and respect her. I know with all my heart that she is very proud of each of her children and grandchildren.
This precious lady always made me feel apart of what ever they were doing in Clemson for football, and feel loved
I will never forget her and she will be missed greatly. But knowing we will meet again is a true blessing.
My prayers are for Mr JJ, and Beth, John, Babs and Becky along with all the other family members and the “gaggles” of grandchildren . She LOVED you all so much.
May God give you all the peace and strength in the days to come.
