Betty had the best southern accent and delicious recipes. I make her spiced tea every year and think of her. She loved her children and grandchildren so very much. Betty will always be remembered for her warmth and kindness. Sending much love to Rip, David and their families.

Betty Barstow was a knowledgeable, kind, funny and loving lady. She will be greatly missed by so many. I can’t imagine a fuller life lived. I’m so sorry for the family she so loved

Rip and David, Your mother was one of the most "giving and caring" persons I have ever known. She loved both of you and your families so much and always wanted her friends to know how proud she was of you. We are all going to miss her and I am just glad that I knew her. When the Coleman family moved to Hargett Court, Stone Mountain in 1978, Betty became lifelong friends to Jane and Ward and their boys, Jerre, John, Steve and Rob.
