My sincere heartfelt condolences to the family. May God's comforting arms surround you today & in the days to come. Rest assured that Dinky is in Heaven smiling down on you all and at sweet peace & rest. When God created "Dinky'" he truly created an Angel for me! She was a blessing to me at a time in my life when I was going through a Spiritual battle, Rest on "Grandma Dinky" you have finished your race and gained your wings. Until we meet again you are forever in that special place in my heart that no one can fill.
Your Granddaughter

I Loved Dinky so much! I cherish my Deacon Cookbook but I confess if my name was by a recipe it was Ann or Dinky's. They didn't want their name by so many good dishes so I got the credit but don't ask me how to prepare anything, I just enjoyed their cooking! Dinky was a fine Christian Lady and the students and staff of Christian Academy benefited from her Love!
She will truly be missed but she is in a much better place with her Lord and her family. Love you Dinky!

My love and prayers goes to all of Aunt Dinky's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was such an amazing woman that was so special to me.
I think of my great grandfather David Rush Mckenzie growing up in a house full of ALL girls! Whoever taught them how to cook, thank you. Aunt Dinky and my grandma's cooking was some of the best food you ever ate. And I am so grateful the sisters made us a recipe book many years ago.
I'll always cherish my beautiful and sweet Aunt Dinky and will forever love her.
I hope she rests in peace now because she definitely deserves it

I have the most wonderful memories of the most wonderful Aunt!!! My mother was one of the sisters as they were called. They were such a huge part of my growing up. There was never a time when I had spent the night that you didn’t awaken to a bustling day full of chores and fun. All of the aunts had their “specialty” and cooking was Aunt Dinky’s. They were all wonderful cooks and even better aunts. I cherish all of the memories I have of Aunt Dinky. Her devotion to her family and to her Lord were phenomenal. She will be sorely missed.

I sure loved this sweet and precious lady. She sure kept me well fed with her yummy lunches at MCA. I know she’s cooking up a feast in heaven.
