My aunt Vernie was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. Although I had not seen her in a while, I always enjoyed the times spent with her. She will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers to you during this time.
With love, David and Kathy Vines

Love and prayers to the family! Wish we could be there with Uncle Lanton and family. Daddy (Tom) sends his condolences and hates that he cannot attend services during this time. Love from Mike McCloud and family

Always remember her smile and laugh! She loved having family together and my best Christmas and Thanksgiving memories are with all of you at her house. Watching her laugh at Lupe during the Christmas White Elephant game was always the funniest part of the year. What an honor to have known her and her love for thirty years. May she dance in heaven and know my thoughts are with all of you.

Grandma Vernie welcomed me into her family with open arms when my daughter married her grandson. She always included me in the family gathering and insisted that I call her Grandma. She was a caring mother as reflected in her two sons, a loving faithful wife and an incredible grandmother. When I would visit she was always smiling and happy. This was so uplifting. One thing I won't forget is the numerous special occasion cards I received. She never forgot a birthday or mother's day. I will miss you .
